💫 Fantasy Craft Night

Join Counterspell Games at Love & Legends Books, as we get crafty with a selection of fantasy themed activities! Spend the evening off your screen and step into a magical fantasy world. From painting minis, to paper crafts, to pinnable buttons, this is your chance for creativity! 🎨 Paint a TTRPG mini "Mini painting" (short for miniature painting) is the hobby of hand-painting small figurines used in tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs) to help visualize a character's movement. Our minis are pre-primed and ready to paint! We'll show you the techniques you need to make a new character, or bring your existing one to life. 🧷 Make your own buttons Use our button maker and select your favorite fantasy imagery to create your own pinnable buttons! Wear them on your jacket, pin to your backpack, or give them to a friend. 🗡️ NEW: Make an enchanted crown and sword Along your adventures you might find magical objects, but have you ever tried crafting one before? We'll show you how to make a beautiful sword and crown out of just paper, glue, and plenty of bedazzlement! What will you name your sword? At which jaunty angle will you wear your crown? Only you can decide! ✨ Your ticket includes one mini, one fantasy crown, one fantasy sword, and three buttons! We'll also provide you with a protective sleeve for your paper crafts, and a container to take your painted mini safely home with you :) Never rolled a D20 before? No worries! This is a great opportunity to explore the world of tabletop games for a spell. And if you regularly play TTRPGs like D&D or Daggerheart, we hope the evening inspires you for your next adventure. What our guests are saying: What you'll experience: Everything you need to get creative. We provide all the crafting materials, from paint to paintbrushes, paper and glue, and a selection of heroic miniatures to choose from. Make new friends IRL! Counterspell Games events are completely in person, with no screens. Take a break from notifications and doomscrolling, meet new people, and share in a truly analog experience. Check out Love & Legends' offerings as you craft! Stock up on your favorite fantasy series, pick up some new dice, or check out their curated selection of TTRPGs. We'll see you in The Rift!
