tension/release radio takes it outside. Uniting forces with CTRL_F + DISCHARGE (collective & party series), we bring together an intentionally curated lineup for a summer rooftop gathering at Honey's — open air, free entry, and a continuous flow of techno-rooted, genre-fluid sounds by artists across our community. Opening with a watercolor art therapy session by Gabrielle Benak, a mixed-media artist from New York, treesunstars accompanies the activity with a dub techno set. DJ girlcrush and Kristen London take over next with progressive house, acid & trance, followed by the bounce of EMZ! and masha latte bringing jersey club, baile funk, and hardgroove. The evening continues as COVE and Cow Tools embrace atmospheric, hypnotic and minimal techno, with 1ol1v1a and R-DNA deepening into techno soundscapes as the sun goes down, closing the tension/release experience.
