Freshly Pressed returns to Dead Letter No. 9 for the second installment of Vivian Wang's summer residency. This edition also serves as a fundraiser for Willie Mae Rock Camp, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit that provides free music, technology, and STEM education to girls and gender-expansive youth across New York City, helping young people develop creative confidence and technical skills through music-making, mentorship, and hands-on learning. In Cargo, Freshly Pressed founder Vivian Wang welcomes Alissa Brianna and Arianna Danae for a night of deep selections and boundary-pushing sounds from 10PM–3AM. Born in Beijing and now based in NYC, Vivian Wang has become known for her high-energy sets, rare vinyl finds, and genre-defying approach to storytelling through music. A co-founder of Freshly Pressed and a key figure behind Brooklyn Sway, she has shared stages with artists including Cassy, Danny Tenaglia, Seth Troxler, Juan Atkins, and David Morales, building a reputation for adventurous selections that connect dance floors across generations and cultures. Joining her is Arianna Danae, whose sound blends Armenian heritage with New York City attitude. Drawing from a wide range of global influences, her sets fuse house, disco, and rhythm-driven club music into something distinctly her own. A resident at Flash in DC witht he internationally acclaimed Laylit series, and founder of Jupiter Disco's long-running Rebelle party, Arianna has shared lineups with artists including DJ Harvey, Dixon, Gerd Janson, Bonobo, Todd Terje, DJ Tennis, VTSS, and Marcel Dettmann. Known for her deep musical knowledge and culturally expansive approach to the dance floor, she brings equal parts groove, curiosity, and grit to every set. Rounding out the night is Alissa Brianna, a New York DJ, vocalist, and nightlife staple whose sets move effortlessly through house, electro, breaks, acid, and vocal-driven club music. Known for her infectious energy and fearless approach behind the decks, Alissa has brought her sound to some of New York's most respected dance floors, including Nowadays, Good Room, Elsewhere, H0L0, Signal, and Bossa Nova Civic Club. Playful, emotional, and deeply dance floor focused, she's become a beloved fixture within the city's queer nightlife community. Meanwhile in the Foyer, YNDENT and Smurfoudirty take over from 9PM–3AM. Known for eclectic selections and a deep appreciation for leftfield dance music, the pair will guide the room through a genre-fluid journey of underground grooves, cosmic sounds, forgotten gems, and unexpected turns. Expect a looser, anything-goes energy where curiosity leads the way and great records do the talking. Venue opens at 5PM | Happy Hour 5PM-7PM | Music at 9PM Kitchen open late | 21+
