Drummer Tony Leone grew up in Hartford CT, where he attended the Hartt School of Music and studied under alto sax legend, composer and bandleader Jackie McLean. He is currently a member of the Classic American Rock Band, Little Feat and has performed and or recorded with a wide variety of musicians including:Illinois Jacquet, Lou Donaldson, Slide Hampton, Harold Mabern,George Coleman, Levon Helm, Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead,Shooter Jennings, Chip Taylor and singer, Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes.
He is also a founding member of the band, Ollabelle, whose Americana Roots eponymous debut was released on Sony DMZ in 2004 and garnered much critical acclaim.

"Something about the sound Mike DiRubbo elicits from the alto saxophone - deep, dark, immense, with a machete edge that denotes a ready-for-anything urban sensibility - immediately grabs the ear. It’s a sound familiar to the cream of New York’s hardcore jazz community since the mid-'90's" writes Ted Panken.
Today, in an age where media-created young lions are more interested in downloads than down beats, alto saxophonist/composer/bandleader/educator Mike DiRubbo is the real deal. Ever since he arrived in New York two decades ago, DiRubbo has reigned supreme as one of the most durable and dynamic musicians of his generation. That bold statement is augmented by the aural evidence of his work with the brightest jazz stars including Tony Reedus, Larry Willis, Eddie Henderson, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Dwayne Burno, Peter Washington, Carl Allen, John Hicks and Cecil Payne, and as a solo artist, with seven critically-acclaimed CD’s as a leader.
On his instrument DiRubbo has it all: from Benny Carter’s mastery of melody and Johnny Hodges’ ballad mellow tones to Charlie Parker’s light-speed fluency. But what truly sets DiRubbo apart from the rest was his apprenticeship under the legendary alto saxophonist/educator Jackie McLean.

Steve Davis is widely regarded as one of today's leading voices on the trombone. After graduating from The Hartt School's Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz ('89), Davis first gained widespread recognition in 1990 upon joining as the last to join the Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, Steve’s first record dates would be Blakey's last, including One For All (A&M), the title track penned by Davis.

Over the years since, Davis has worked with a broad range of jazz luminaries such as his first mentor Jackie McLean, Chick Corea, Benny Golson, Jimmy Heath, James Moody, Cecil Payne, Harold Mabern, Larry Willis, Freddie Hubbard & The New Jazz Composers Octet, Slide Hampton's World of Trombones, Horace Silver, Cedar Walton, Hank Jones, Rene McLean, Nat Reeves, Avishai Cohen, Roy Hargrove & Willie Jones III. Steve & Abena appear together on Natalie Merchant's 2023 release, "Keep Your Courage" (Nonesuch).
