In The Pocket

DJ Shannon and Niyah West's beloved In The Pocket returns, this time at Mood Ring, for a multi-genre affair featuring special guest Kneaku. Kneaku models the taste of South Florida DJs, mixing with So Flo Jook, Miami Bass, Dancehall, NOLA Bounce, Jersey Club, Philly Club, Bmore Club, Hip Hop & R&B; while infusing personal favorites, [Ghetto] House / Techno, Breakbeat and Ballroom. Kneaku’s DJ performances span from club to theatrical live sound. Their perspective stems from their cultural influences, academics and passions that funnel into an eclectic multi dimensional practice, using underground culture to drive rhythm and narrative in everything they do. With these three joining forces, there's no telling where the night could go. Prepare to dance. Presented by @inthepocket.bk @kneaku @niyahwest @shannon1dj Free entry @moodringnyc
