Tonight’s lineup comes courtesy of A lana’s residency curation. After cutting their teeth in the ‘90s and joining forces in 2001, the Soul Clap duo make their final appearance as a pair tonight. Together with A lana’s Sound Room debut, expect a far-reaching lesson in house from open to close. In The Atrium, two artists who represent many iterations of NYC nightlife's ebb and flow keep the energy high. One half of The Carry Nation, Nita Aviance’s sets are spiritually cathartic, bold, joyful, jittery, and relentless. Dee Diggs closes the room with a celebration of house and techno's Black and queer sound: sensual club edits, soulful realness, sneaky grooves, passionate thumpers, and nostalgic endings. UPSTAIRS, David Paglia’s 6-hour set stays the course, through all things uplifting and soulful. - Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
