MEZAME NEW YORK 2026 opens with a rare billing pairing three singular voices in contemporary experimental music. james K, James Ferraro, and DRUMLOOP share the stage for a night that moves between the physical and the digital. ~ james K is a New York-born vocalist, producer, and multidisciplinary artist whose ethereal, genre-defying sound has quietly shaped the trajectory of underground music for over a decade. ~ James Ferraro is an American composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and contemporary artist widely recognized as a pioneer of 21st-century experimental music movements including hypnagogic pop, post-noise, and vaporwave. His visionary work explores themes of hyperreality, consumer culture, technology, and the evolving relationship between humans and digital environments, blending elements of contemporary classical, ambient, drone, electronica, R&B, and hip-hop. ~ DRUMLOOP is the alias of New York-based artist Daffodil Meadow Scanlan. She has mastered a wide range of musical styles from ambient and drone, to noise and electroacoustic composition. Using sound, drawing, and performance, her work deals in memory and our emotional relationship to it overtime. Drumloop has performed live at ISSUE Project Room, Pioneer Works, Norberg Festival, Les Urbaines, Yale Union and more. She has released two full length LP's, "Limiting Mindset" on Berlin's Psychic Liberation imprint, and "I Learned to Call You" on New York label Vial Recordings.
