Ham by the Pound is Evan Quigley (Guitar), Sir Harvey Johnson (Bass), and Will Smith (Drums). The trio met in a federal prison in 2016, all facing separate charges of tax and securities fraud. They bonded over their love of music and distaste for the IRS, and started writing music through 2018 and 2019. They released their debut EP, “Heather,” on Valentine’s Day of 2020. When guitarist Matthew Smith joined the group in 2022, he was originally an undercover federal agent on a mission to gather incriminating evidence to bring Ham by the Pound back into custody. Camille De Beus is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter making indie-alt rock. Classically trained in piano, viola, and composition, she picked up guitar a couple years ago and started writing by ear, no notation. It’s music for night walks, long train rides, and when you're tired of talking. Fox Indigo is a Brooklyn-based, indie-rock artist with a passion for the DIY community. Her music embodies the hope, sadness, and the frenetic energy of NYC. Influenced by artists like Regina Spektor, Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens, Beethoven, the Beach Boys, and Thelonious Monk, her music is an amalgamation of various musical styles and genres, including jazz, classical, folk, and rock. As a classically trained musician, her piano-driven songs are heavily inspired by classical harmonies and arrangements, but also by her musical background playing in jazz ensembles.
