Your heartbeat gets amplified and lights up the space -- then Eric Pan’s piano responds with West-African polyrhythms. For 3 minutes a brush paints the improvised duet, live, ink onto archival paper: the original 1/1 for you to take home. Open studio, 5–9 PM. Drop in and out. Sittings are first come, and you’re also welcome to just listen and watch too. After 38 sittings on October 24th at Art Blocks Marfa Weekend -- the debut of the world’s first piano that paints -- Eric Pan’s music-art installation comes to New York for one evening for an intimate hang, hosted at the Tribeca studio of Ben Griffin, who was instrumental to its build-out. Why bottle time? A brief history: ericpan.org/bottle/why About Eric: ericpan.org/bio RSVP for address of Ben Griffin’s Tribeca studio. Much love!
