MERGE x FUTURE TERROR

Last year, we had the distinct honor of collaborating with DJ Nobu's FUTURE TERROR party in Tokyo - a night of cross-cultural music and energetic exchange that we will cherish forever. On July 17th, DJ Nobu returns to MERGE to celebrate the 25th ANNIVERSARY of his Japanese institution FUTURE TERROR in Brooklyn. Joining DJ Nobu are two of the party's residents: DJ Yazi, a Japanese legend whose approach to the genre is deeply textural and artfully idiosyncratic, and Kugel, a South Korean DJ who effortlessly weaves through psychedelia and the cosmic - masterful storytelling that inspires hyper-immersion and self-exploration. They both make their stateside debut. Doltz, also from Japan, returns to Brooklyn and brings one of the most exhilarating and distinctive techno LIVE sets - a daring and tried-and-true hypnotic wormhole. We will work together to incubate the collective queer body, and experience its transformation under the influence of techno. We seek release, mutual understanding, deeper access to the personal, interconnected, and ethereal. We honor the sound through dance, self expression, and hyper-immersion. --- We have zero tolerance for physical, verbal, or sexual harassment. This includes non-consensual touching, violence, discriminatory language, or any behaviors that have a negative impact on the experience or the physical safety of other guests. If a problem or concern arises, guests are encouraged to locate a staff member for assistance.
