Klovis Gaynor & the Urinal Cakes, Jewel Thief, Investigation

Jersey City Rock outfit Jewel Thief coming to Sleepwalk. Fresh off a string of releases including “Marathon Sunday,” “A Man For All Seasons,” and “Heartbreak Love,” they are bringing their extensive catalog to Brooklyn to kick off their Fall run to support. Get ready to dance. Klovis Gaynor & The Urinal Cakes approach their songs with confidence & foreculness, yet also fragility, gentlessness, & hope. They are the sound of crying, the sound of fucking, the sound of banging pianos, distorted guitars, fear, lust, hate, love, cum, cum & more cum. Investigation’s driving rhythm section and slashing guitars anchor songs about American masculinity and the never ending search for peace. Cowpunk Troubadours.
