One of the foundation DJs of Detroit’s deep house scene, since 1982 Norm Talley helped to establish and cement the deep end of Detroit’s dance culture. Mostly released since 2009, his productions trace the entire spectrum of Detroit music, from disco and vocal house to nasty techno only Motown could produce, all delivered with raw emotional intensity. Deemed a “Detroit DJ-to-watch,” Sav G has been busy building her own name, and collection, across the city. NAP and deep creep work The Atrium. The two share a quick-witted attitude toward dance; where NAP brings Mexico City's percussive punk, the pi pi pi founder brings a techy edge. Francis Harris and Tal spin UPSTAIRS: nothing is off limits tonight. - Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
