Introducing A TRIBE CALLED QUEENS, a vinyl social for conversation, connection & the sounds from the borough that raised us. Each edition celebrates Queens through a record by one of its own, with one song setting the theme for the night. For our first gathering, we’re starting with Queens legend LL Cool J & his ode to the women from around the way, “Around the Way Girl.” Pull up to The Connect Bar in Jamaica, Queens for a night rooted in music, community & conversation. We’ll open with conversation prompts by @khiakeys inspired by the theme, then settle into a vinyl soundtrack curated from the @linernotesvinylclub archive, celebrating the artists, records & sounds of Queens. Come with your people. Leave knowing a few more. 📍 The Connect Bar | Jamaica, Queens 📅 Friday, October 9 ⏰ 7–11 PM 💿 Vinyl selections by LINER NOTES Vinyl Club 🥂 Happy Hour | 7–8 PM 🎟️ 21+ _\*\*All ticket sales are final & non-refundable.
