Air x New Wave Screening

Join us for a free screening of New Wave — a documentary about young Vietnamese American refugees who fell in love with '80s new wave music and built a third culture of their own. Told through archival footage, interviews, and director Elizabeth Ai's own family story, it premiered at Tribeca 2024 and took home a Special Mention for Best New Documentary Director. Air, a Creative Operations platform, is bringing together creatives, marketers, and storytellers in New York for an evening of film, community, and conversation in honor of AAPI Heritage Month. Expect drinks, Chinatown bites, and good company before we dim the lights. Following the movie, stay for a set by DJ SGOD. 🎟️ Free to attend. Priority will be given to folks in the creative community. Space is limited, RSVP required.
