The deepness carries into Saturday courtesy of DJ Sprinkles and [g] — fka Russell E.L. Butler. Long-time in dialogue, these thinkers bring a particularly critical and self-aware edge to minimal, deep house, and their emotive capabilities. Driven by a curiosity for leftfield stereo manipulations, Abby Echiverri’s hardware-tuned ear builds up The Atrium for Naone, a probe for ‘90s and early 2000s ravey, progressive tech. Things slow down UPSTAIRS with Eden Aurelius as she glides through an ambient-inflected journey, her longest DJ set thus far. DURATIONS Festival is a week-long, multi-disciplinary exploration of sound and connection.
