UMWELT ANTENES ALONZO FABIOLA SABININ VS MARK SHEPHARD Umwelt is one of the true veteran mavericks of the hardcore underground. A master of menacing, body-melting sonic contraband, his highly sought-after discography spans nearly 30 years, and his own labels RAVE OR DIE and NEWFLESH RECORDS have both achieved cult status with their legacy of uncompromising analog-focused excellence. Umwelt occupies a well-deserved and revered position in the top echelons of both electro and techno. A true staple of New York’s underground, Antenes has built a reputation as one of the most talented DJs in NYC for those who know. With a unique ability to draw a dance floor into her own world of sound, Antenes is well respected for her spiraling and immersive techno performances. She is no less accomplished in the electro realm and she delivers a special electro-focused closing set this time. Coming to New York by way of the electro hotbed of Miami, ALONZO’s brings a no-nonsense mastery of the electro rudiments to his slamming live sets: 808, 303, vocoder, and loads of attitude. With releases on a fantastic set of labels including Cultivated Electronics, Zement, and Kraftjerkz, demand for Alonzo’s machine funk has seen him touring some of the best electro cities in Europe. Local regulars and noted electro connoisseurs Fabiola, Mark Shephard and Sabinin open the proceedings with all-vinyl electro sets. Secret weapons are already stockpiled. ⠀⢀⣤⣶⣿⣿⣿⣿⣶⣤⡀⠀⠀ ⢀⣴⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣦⡀ ⣼⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣹⣧ ⣿⡇⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣻⣿ ⢹⢹⠋⠁⠂⡙⣿⣿⢉⠔⠈⠙⣏⡏ ⢠⣾⣀⣲⣼⣶⠋⠙⣶⣥⣖⣠⣿⡄ ⠀⠙⣿⢿⣿⣏⣀⣀⣹⣿⡿⣿⠛⠁ ⠀⠀⣿⣞⠛⠛⠟⠻⠛⠛⣳⣿⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⢸⣿⣷⣶⣤⣤⣶⣾⣿⡇⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠉⠻⠿⣿⣿⡿⠟⠉⠀⠀⠀ Please be advised: This is a renegade assembly and we will be pulsing as one until the first grey sighs of dawn.
