LOCAL LEGENDS: Celebrating DUMBO’s Creative Legacy and Future Join us for a special evening of conversation, community, and live music celebrating the artists and cultural pioneers who helped transform DUMBO into one of New York City's most iconic creative neighborhoods. From its industrial waterfront beginnings to its emergence as a vibrant center for art, music, and independent culture, DUMBO has a remarkable story — and many of the people who shaped it are still creating here today. Moderated by multidisciplinary artist Kylin O’Brien, the evening brings together: Jan Bell — Singer-songwriter and founder of the Brooklyn Americana Music Festival Tanya Rynd — Artist, curator, and co-founder of Superfine Kriss Roebling — Artist, musician, and storyteller with deep roots in DUMBO's history Craig Anthony Miller (C.A.M.) — Acclaimed Brooklyn visual artist and muralist Plus a special live musical performance by The Maybelles, Jan Bell's Americana trio featuring Rima Fand and Philippa Thompson. Presented alongside Kylin O’Brien | Art Under the Bridge, an exhibition celebrating 18 years of creativity in community.
