Join us on October 18th for CARNAVAL NYC, a free outdoor fashion show, dance party and community celebration presented by AMEHL WORLD in the heart of Bushwick. Forget the traditional runway. CARNAVAL NYC is all about movement, music, self-expression, and bringing people together. Expect an afternoon of dancing, fashion, live DJ sets, and creative energy as we celebrate the different cultures and communities that make New York City so special. Featuring a diverse, intergenerational cast of models, artists, and neighbourhood creatives, CARNAVAL NYC brings fashion off the runway and onto the dance floor, where everyone is invited to be part of the experience. The lineup includes DJ sets by evilo and Fedra on a custom sou system by Echoic Systems. There will also be installation art, acrobats, and performances by Afro-Brazilian percussion group Bátala NY, and a traditional Bolivian dance group, San Simon Sucre Filial NY. After the park event, the party will continue in our shop, Amehl World, at 121 Knickerbocker from 7-10 pm.
