Open Decks w/ Steen & CLUB MASSIVE

Hosted by DJ and musician Steen, Open Decks is a creative and fun space where DJs can hang and share their house and techno music live. Hear your favorite or original tracks on Silo's front room sound system, a custom 15,000 watt Danley powerhouse. If you want to play, talk to Steen to sign up. Sign-up is in person at the event only, slots are 12 minutes. The first 3 DJ's play first-come-first-spin. Then we'll select names randomly from the sign-up list throughout the night, with extra weighting for DJs who arrive earlier. You'll get a half hour notice before your set time. This is to ensure that DJ's who can't make the initial sign up right at 8pm still get a chance to play. This week's co-host is CLUB MASSIVE. Led by Duriya Rochdi(duriya) / Kelby Strobel(kstrobez) / and Olivia Dituro (OGD) CLUB MASSIVE is a trans, queer, and BIPOC-led home for jungle and footwork. They are a safe, comfortable space, built on care for each other across race, gender, sexuality, background, and ability. Discrimination, exclusion, and harmful behavior will have no place. CLUB MASSIVE will offer an hour set at their next monthly happy hour at Happyfun Hideaway to one fantastic junglist who participates in the open decks. Free with advance RSVP. Question? Hit up your host on IG @steenschmidt In SILO's front room. Limited capacity.
