Eyebeam Presents Artificial Inquiries: A Live Worldbuilding Game with More&More

Join us Monday, October 5 as Eyebeam kicks off our 2026–27 year of programming around AGENCY with a live experiment in collective worldbuilding. At a moment when so much attention is being paid to the supposed agency of “AI” systems, how might we redirect some of that attention toward the human decisions, values, and structures that determine what these systems are built to do in the first place? Four artists, researchers, and technologists will play Artificial Inquiries, a new card game about AI from More&More, the collaborative worldbuilding project by Sarah Rothberg and Marina Zurkow. Together, the players, accompanied by a live illustrator, will build a speculative future out loud. Prompt cards introduce new conditions and questions: How do people live and work? Who holds power? What gets valued? What happens to labor, data centers, planetary resources, pleasure, and multispecies life? Come watch a world take shape, eat dumplings, and hear more about our open call for the 2026–27 residencies.
