Estúdio Junto x BATEKOO: AO VIVO 009

New York based Brazilian collective Estúdio Junto is back with its 9th edition of AO VIVO, this time bringing a special edition in collaboration with BATEKOO. BATEKOO is a collective born in Salvador, Brazil, made by and for Black & queer people, built around Black Brazilian music. What started on the dance floors of Bahia grew into one of Brazil's defining party movements, with regular nights in Salvador, São Paulo, and Rio and a reach that's taken them around the world. For this edition of AO VIVO, expect a lineup of DJs playing a mix of Brazilian funk, club, and kuduro. This night continues what AO VIVO has been building: platforming Brazilian artists and collectives, inviting tempo to shift with intention, and building a space we've always wanted to exist outside of Brazil. We're excited to have you join us on the dance floor. ■ No photos or videos ■ No phone use on the dancefloor ■ The dance floor is for dancing, not conversation ■ Consent is mandatory ■ Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, or any form of discrimination ■ Take care of each other, alert our staff if somebody isn't feeling well ■ Violating the house rules will result in removal ■ Ticket purchase does not guarantee entrance
