THE ZOO: THE GRAND OPENING You can lose a home. You don’t lose a family. For years, THE ZOO has been one of New York queer nightlife’s wildest institutions — an award-winning Friday-night home for DJs, performers, dancers, pop obsessives and hundreds of beautiful creatures who made the dance floor their own. Then we lost our home. The closing of The Rosemont meant losing the room where ZOO grew up. But queer nightlife has always survived by rebuilding, reinventing and finding each other again. So we rebuild. On Friday, September 25, THE ZOO begins its next chapter at OBERON, in the heart of Williamsburg. Joining us for the reopening: Luis Fernando, Jon Ali and P\_A\_T on music, with Rob Morean, Essa Noche, Jupitter Genesis, Greg Knob, Justthomp, Vera Lee Westwood, Ty Evans, Shane Reaction, Muumuse and Michael Matthews hosting the madness, plus Cheetah Boys Honky Tonk Hooker and Adubsa — and one A SUPER SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY CHLOE QISHA! The masks are back. The animals are back. The family is back. This isn't a reboot. This is a rebirth. FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25 • 10 PM–4 AM OBERON • 196 N 10TH ST, BROOKLYN Always free before 11 with RSVP. We lost our home. So we're building a new one. THE ZOO LIVES. ROARRRRRR, BABY. 🐆
