The AHA recommends **at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity per week** (about 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week) for heart health and overall well-being, so let's be the reason you get at least 30 minutes. Often times we want to go outside and walk but doing it alone can be daunting, and you might not be ready to start running. Let's build the blocks for a foundation. **Sole Friends** is a walk series where we will meet every month at 10am at various parks through NYC to walk it out with other **Good Soles.** This series we'll be exploring _Prospect Park._ We'll meet at **Grand Army Plaza Arch (under the arch).** And start from there. This is a **3 mile walk.** Feel free to go at your own pace. 🏁: GRAND ARMY PLAZA ARCH (20 Grand Army Plaza Brooklyn, NY) 🕐: **10 AM** meet **10:15 AM** walk begins. 🤝: Meet + Greet. 🚶: We'll be doing two full laps around the loop inside Prospect Park, please prepare to do however much or little you can. Pace will be at the group, feel free to go however fast or slow as needed. **🌊: Please bring your own water and snacks as needed and let the group know of any injuries or issues that might prevent you from fully participating.** Come as you are, as comfortable as you are but this is a way to escape. We will not tolerate **any hate speech or inappropriate language during the walk**. There also is no tolerance for any substance use during the walk. You may be asked to leave should you violate any of these terms or if anyone is made to feel unsafe. This is a place for all to release, walk and enjoy themselves. Let's do this together safely!
