Family Meal, the queer disco supper club and hospitality collective, returns home to C’mon Everybody for our seventh edition and the official kickoff of our second season! There’s a shift happening—a certain smell in the air that has us inspired, hungry, and ready to serve up our signature beats and bites that feed the soul. For Edition 07, we’re curating an evening centered around the idea of “Homecoming.” Fall is just around the corner, school is almost back in session, and folks are returning home from their summer travels—including our guest chef and deep family, Isabella Mezzettone, who has spent the last several months traveling, cooking, and eating her way through Italy. Isabella cooked for Family Meal Edition 01 and has supported Greg and Joyah through nearly every edition since, so it feels especially good to welcome her home and share her extensive experience through the art of Italian cooking. Providing the beats to complement such divine culinary magic is my friend, the incomparable Karim Olen Ash, who will be playing alongside his good Judy, Hijo Prodigo. These two talented artists have played separately all over the world, but together, they are known here in NYC for their high-energy, soulful B2B sets at Animal, and we’re thrilled to welcome them into our little family. We’re excited to announce that for year 2 of FM, we’re introducing a new ticketing structure that gives you, our guests, a little more choice in how you show up and what you bring to our family table. It’s one of the ways we’re building something that can continue to sustain and grow this gathering and collective.
