REACTOR: Adam X, Reade Truth, and Richard Hinge

It's Adam X's birthday. Before Sonic Groove was a label, it was a record shop. It started as Groove Records in Brooklyn in 1990, opened by Frankie Bones and Adam X, the counter where New York techno got its education. Reade Truth worked behind that counter, put out some of the label's first records, and never left the sound. Thirty-five years later the family is still intact. We're bringing that history to a new rooftop venue at 349 Meserole to celebrate Adam's birthday. Adam X, Reade Truth and Richard Hinge, all night, open air, on a tuned Danley rig. Brooklyn techno from the people who built it.
