Seriously Entertaining is House of SpeakEasy's critically-acclaimed literary cabaret series. Each show brings together four incredible writers for a fast-paced, thought-provoking, and often surprising night of original storytelling, connected by a common theme. The New York Times calls it “a literary mixtape [with] perfect flow and variety." On October 6th, House of SpeakEasy and The New Yorker return to Joe’s Pub for another Seriously Entertaining collaboration, celebrating the release of The New Yorker: From Cover to Cover, the definitive presentation of the world’s most popular and evocative magazine covers. Featuring Barry Blitt, Grace Lynne Haynes, and Anita Kunz, and co-hosted by House of SpeakEasy co-founder Amanda Foreman and Françoise Mouly, art editor of The New Yorker and author of The New Yorker: From Cover to Cover.
