Coming up in Toronto’s underground and now based in Berlin, AADJA’s emotive and at times experimental sound is high-energy and acid-infused — finding contrast between introversion and club mania. She opens before Kyle Geiger, whose groove-forward, melodic taste breeds a new soundscape for techno. Nowadays’ DJ G opens The Atrium with his own love for deep, dubbed-out atmospheres; seductive grooves; and psychedelic textures. London’s Softi returns stateside. Her sets are boundlessly dynamic, chugging across BPMs while maintaining a leftfield hypnotism. Zotos brings his all-vinyl, all-genre ethos “live and direct” UPSTAIRS. - Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
