Skratch Bastid

paul murphy, aka Skratch Bastid, is a Halifax-based DJ who started by pestering local turntablists to teach him their craft. he picked up tricks so quickly that mentors started calling him "little bastid"—which stuck as his stage name. he's known for scratching and turntablism.
